Mehrdad Niaparast

Department of Statistics/Faculty of Science

Dr. Mehrdad Niaparast is a faculty member in the Department of Statistics at Razi University, Kermanshah, Iran. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics from Magdeburg University in Germany, an M.Sc. in Statistics from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, and a B.Sc. in Statistics from Shiraz University.

His research interests include optimal experimental design, linear and nonlinear models, and the application of data mining and machine learning methods in statistical modeling.

He teaches a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including mathematical statistics, regression analysis, statistical inference, linear models, and introductory and advanced data mining.
