Biography

Dr. Samad Jamali is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Protection. He conducted all his academic studies in Plant Pathology at Shiraz University, and his research has consistently focused on understanding, managing, and controlling plant pathogens. His specialized research area involves the study of fungal diseases of trees, specifically focusing on three categories: fruit, ornamental, and forest trees. This research aims to achieve key objectives such as identifying and classifying pathogenic fungi, analyzing disease epidemiology and cycles, and ultimately developing sustainable management strategies to mitigate associated losses.
