Dr. Danial Kahrizi, a full professor at Razi University, was chosen by the International Society of Molecular Cell Biology as the editor of Cellular and Molecular Biology journal.

This journal was launched in France in 1956 as Annales of d'Histochimie and then changed its name to Cellular and Molecular Biology in 1976.

The editorial board of this journal includes the names of prominent people and scientists, including 8 Nobel Prize winners. Dr. Danial Kahrizi has been a member of the editorial board for five years and assistant editor for two years, and recently the International Association of Molecular Cell Biology, which is the publisher of this journal, nominated five people, including three Americans, one French, and Dr. Kahrizi from Iran, to be the editor of the journal. Finally, the association found Dr. Danial Kahrizi to be the right person and concluded a cooperation agreement with him as the editor of the journal.

This journal is indexed in JCR and SJR and is in the fourth quartile in both.
