Green Public communication announced: At Razi University, in the first move, Green Management in collaboration with the Municipality of Razi University, has abandoned the use of previous herbicides;e

Since many damage to the environment  are caused by the use of these herbicides, some of which include:E

    -Polluting surface and underground water;E

    -Destroying wild flowers;E

    -Eliminating the biodiversity of birds, bees and etc.E

    -Drying of weeds on the surface of the earth, then, their root remaining in the soil and it leads to have the appearance of inappropriate soil.E

Dr. Maebadi added: Currently, the removal of herbicides leads to the revival of biodiversity, the growth of wild flowers, the lack of contamination of surface water and also prevents soil erosion. On the other hand, the purchase of herbicides cost about 50-60 million Toman. Which has been saved now. Also, the mentioned action reduces hidden  costs, such as underground water treatment.E
