According to Razi University Public Relations, on the occasion of Natural Resources and Arboriculture Week, hiking and planting conferences in cooperation with the University Municipality, Green Management and Physical Education Management Center and Kermanshah Natural Resources Department, during March 6 and 7 at the Agriculture and Resources Campus Naturally held.

In this regard, Dr. Farzad Mandani, the director of the university municipality, announced the planting of more than 2,000 fruitful and non-fruitful seedlings in the university green space this week and said: During the week of natural resources, 3 tree planting ceremonies in Taghbestan campus, agricultural campus and natural resources And the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has been done.

Announcing that 20,000 square meters have been added to the university's green space during the tree planting week, he added: "The plant species cultivated during this ceremony include maple, sparrow tongue, apricot, apple, pear, grape and almond."

Also, Dr. Shahriar Abbasian, Director of Physical Education of the University, referring to the walking conference of professors, staff and students of Razi University with saplings, said: In order to implement the annual sports calendar and winter festival, a walking conference with the slogan (Sports for all), March 9, 2017 was held on the occasion of Natural Resources Week and Arbor Day in the Campus of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

He added: "In this conference, which was held in the presence of university officials, professors, staff and students, the participants took a walk on the campus of agriculture and natural resources. Then, by holding a planting conference, 15 participants were drawn by lot." Prizes were awarded.
